Soundproofing R Us were a pleasure to have around and did a great job for us (soundproofing our bedroom ceiling and redecorating two rooms).A Reduction of about 70% - it has cut out sharp noises comletely (eg impact of chair legs on the floor) and muffled the sound of voices/footsteps. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I would like to show my appreciation to Daniel for all his help in resolving the sound problems we were having with our neighbours upstairs. We live in a bottom floor maisonette and the couple upstairs recently had a baby which meant all through the night they were walking around causing constant banging and creaking. Daniel advised that the best solution would be to remove the old ceiling and replace with the Resilient/Sound Breaker Bars system. This has worked better than I ever imagioned as it has reduced the noice levels by atleast 90% and we are now getting full nights sleep which we haven’t had for months. The guys wwre extermly professional, neat and tidy and very polite. They completed a great job and we are very very happy with the result and I can’t put in words how much we apperate what they have done for us as this has changed our live. We would recommend them to anyone.

We live in victorian conversion and were suffering with airbourne noise from our noisy neighbours in the flat below. We could hear their every conversion and television it was as if they were living in our flat with us. SoundproofingRus soundproofed the floors of our lounge and bedroom. As the bedroom suffered the worst from the noise Daniel recommended that the floor be raised for extra soundproofing. The result is a definate improvement and Daniel demonstated the improvement with a sound test. We can finally sleep in our bedroom and sit in our lounge without being totally disturbed by our neighbours. I recommend soundproofing R us, the work was completed to schedule and to a good standard. After suffering at the hands of my neighbours for 3 months from constant arguments and thumping around. Installed the help of Daniel and his team who fitted a suspended ceiling in my bedroom and lounge in February in the middle of the snow blizzards. Apart from a slight delay due to weather conditions they turned up on time and kept to schedule.Like everyone else has commented they where professional, neat and polite. I am quite apprehensive about builders but felt comfortable and reassured by his team and the level of work undertaken. They also rectified any problems that arose during the course of the 5 days.It has cut out almost all airborne noise unless they are shouting and has somewhat cushioned the impact noise. As my neighbours have floor boards/laminate cannot eliminate entirely unless they choose to do something from their end. It has certainly made it more pleasant to live in and don't feel like they can hear my every conversation or movement either.Thanks to Daniel and his team and like everyone else would use them again as well as recommend them. They don't only do soundproofing but can undertake other decorating and building work too.

You will be glad to know that the soundproofing has saved my sanity - I no longer feel as if I am a fly on the wall of someone else's life! I estimate an 80% reduction in airborne noise ( what does get through is mostly via the window/boiler flue) and a similar reduction in impact noise with only sharp noise such as women's heels coming through. My landlord came round yesterday and was very impressed - we had to concentrate to hear the base coming through at all. The work has also made the living room much less echoey and it therefore feels cosier -a hard effect to achieve with such a high ceiling. I was really impressed with you and the team - your efficiency, dedication and good humour . I've rarely seen a team work so hard or care so much about the standard of the finished result. I will certainly be recommending the firm to anyone with similar noise problems.

We live in a ground floor flat of a Victorian conversion and suffered very badly from the noise from the flat upstairs. The conversion was obviously done badly. Our neighbours weren’t being that unreasonable – just living their lives. However, we could hear everything – conversations, TV, music, mobile phones, footsteps, dog barking etc etc. It became really intrusive hearing their lives in our home and we started hating being there. We contacted Daniel who came round and suggested the Acoustic Hanger Type C solution in our bedroom and living room. Daniel and his team have been absolutely fantastic – we were really impressed. They were great guys and we felt totally at ease that they were in our house while we were out at work each day. They always turned up on time, worked really hard and always cleared up at the end of the day. We were even able to sleep in our bedroom each night that work was being done in there. They also finished on time – the whole thing took 5 days. As with any building work there are always minor bits and bobs to sort out at the end so we were particularly impressed that on the last day we came home to a perfect flat – they had even put the furniture back where it was originally! We now enjoy living in our home again as the noise levels from above have been greatly reduced. We still occasionally hear the bass from the music upstairs but that’s part and parcel of living in a flat. At least we don’t hear voices or the TV anymore! We would recommend Daniel and his team to anyone who needs soundproofing done.

We live on the bottom two floors of a four floor Victorian house. I guess the initial conversion - partitioning the building into flats around the stairwell - was pretty sloppy but the terrible renovation carried out last year by our upstairs neighbours (including the dreaded laminate in the room above our bedroom) literally drove us to tears. We could hear literally every step they took, every chair they dragged and every bellowed conversation. Daniel and his team added new independent ceilings in two bedrooms plus the resilient bar solution in the hallway (ceiling and stairwell partition) and as a replacement for the bathroom ceiling. I would say that the volume of sound we hear from the bedrooms is down by about 75%, although some of the sounds can still be distinguished if we try hard enough! Crucially, the tension we used to feel when we were in those rooms has almost gone. After all, we don't expect soundlessness from our neighbours, just a reasonable volume. The resilient bar solution was employed elsewhere because we didn't have the space to lose 6 or 7 inches in the hallway or in the bathroom. I would say that the volume is down by around 40-50% here and the noise seems to be much less distinct than it was. I'd prefer it if our nighbours didn't spend half their lives running up and down the stairs - taking care to jump the last few - but it is much more bearable now. Daniel and his team were extremely unusual builders in that they were polite, respectful and spent at least half an hour cleaning up at the end of each day. They also turned up on time and worked quickly. The whole job was done in seven days with no gaps. The way they worked was exceptional and I would recommend the team for this as much as the great difference they have made to the quality of our lives.

Daniel and his team put a sound proofing ceiling in our bedroom as we were experiencing heavy noise transfer between our flat and a neighbours flat above us which was causing alot of sleep disturbance. The sound proofed ceiling has improved the situation by 75% and we can now hear minimal noise (seems at a distance and muffled) and it certainly doesn't affect our sleep anymore. Daniel and his team were punctual, worked very hard while they were here, and always left things very clean and tidy at the end of each day. We had a small problem with some cupboard doors that had been resized by them to accomodate the change in ceiling height and Daniel was very willing to return to us and fix them to our satisfaction. I would certainly recommend Daniel and his team to undertake this type of work.

Just dropping you a note to express my deep satisfaction with the work your team have undertaken at my flat. I suffered incredibly with airborne and impact noise in my living room coming through the ceiling above, which was driving me crazy! The hangars/resilient bars/barrier mat and wool solution has almost entirely allieviated the problem, so much so I'm not always sure somebody is in above me. I'd estimate a 90-95% improvement on what I used to endure. Your team arrived on time, did a very professional job and left the place clean and tidy. Beforehand, you provided valuable suggestions and information to help me choose the best solution to address my particular problem. The level of sound reduction that has been achieved is huge - it's brilliant. I would guess that it's about a 90% reduction. We hardly hear any noise at all now. It has made such a difference.

We needed soundproofing for out top floor flat in a converted Victorian townhouse as we wanted to lay down woodflooring throughout and thus protect our neighbours below from any subsequent impact noise. Considering that we were on the third floor with no lift, Soundproofingrus managed to finish the job in just three days and kept the flat as tidy as was possible in that time. We are really pleased with the finished product and now feel confident that we can walk around in the flat without disturbing our downstairs neighbours. It has also eliminated a lot of their noise too and we now hear them only very rarely. The carpenters that later came to lay the floor also commented on the good quality of the soundproofing. I initially contacted Daniel via the website to do the soundproofing for my flat and he was able to quote a realistic price within my budget.
