Re: Soundproofing R Us Ltd, work undertaken at 36 Coverton Road, London SW17. This is to certify that Mr D. Pelser and his colleagues were asked to assess the soundproofing needs at our flat in London in March 2007. Bases on their assessment and estimate we commissioned the work which was undertaken at a date convenient to our needs in May 2007. The work was completed exactly to schedule and was to a high and appropriate standard. No damage was sustained to our property and effects and all rubbish generated from the work was cleared efficiently. On this basis I wholeheartedly recommend this company and would particularly commend Mr Pelser and his team for their prompt nature, competitive pricing and expedient service.

Soundproofing R Us did soundproofing to our bedroom ceiling on the ground floor of a semi detached Georgian building. It completely removed all airborne (ie, voices) and impact (footsteps on the wooden floor above) noise from the neighbours above. A professional job done in a day and a half. Highly recommended.

We found Soundproofing R Us to be a very prompt, very tidy ,very efficient and very friendly service. Although the sound of the upstairs neighbours has not gone away completely, it is definitely muffled enough now as not to be a major annoyance. Once clearly audible TV, conversation and heavy footfall have now become "barely" noticeable - we are very pleased with the results. Well, the situation is much improved. The noise from the adjoining property has been reduced considerably - I no longer hear loud talking or arguments coming through the party wall at all hours. As you pointed out to me before starting the job, the bass sound is still audible - I am not sure that it would actually be possible to totally block that out without constructing an additional wall, which as we discussed was not an option due to the space available in the room (for anyone who is suffering from very loud bass music, I would recommend that they trust your advice completely and go for that option if they have sufficient space). However, even that noise has been reduced and I am now sleeping better and no longer dread my neighbours parties every weekend. I was very happy with the speed you completed the job and the fact that you cleaned up completely afterwards, meaning that I could move back into the room that same night.

Yes I'd say the improvement has been significant. One of my neighbours is still audible - he's a big guy who thumps around overhead like a gorilla - but the sound is far more distant and much less intrusive. So yes, I'm very satisfied with the work you've done + with your promptness and speed. Overall I'm pleased. Many thanks and I'd certainly recommend it to others and will actively consider getting my other rooms done too.

Daniel and his team turned up promptly on day one, and immediately set about preparing my flat for the works ahead. A friendly and trust-worthy team, they arrived on time, kept my flat clean and tidied up each night, securing the property before they left. I felt happy leaving them in charge of my home. The soundproofing works to my ceiling were carried out within the guidelines Daniel had provided, and I did not have to chase anyone up around time lines. As for the work itself, when I compare the works with rooms which have not been soundproofed, it is apparent that the noise reduction is quite substantial and I no longer have to listen to second-hand conversations or other TV shows! At least 80% of the footstep volume has also been reduced, but I suspect that this will only be reduced fully if the upstairs neighbours do something about their poor quality laminate flooring. Job well done, and I would be happy to recommend Soundproofing R US for such works.

My husband and I bought a first floor flat in a beautiful Victorian conversion. We always wanted polished floorboards but thought it would be impossible given that we were on the first floor. After doing some research we discovered that it would be possible if we arranged for the floors to be soundproofed. Soundproofing R Us installed their S.I.F Floorhanger System in the floors of our kitchen/dinning room, bedroom and hallway. The contractors worked very efficiently, left the house clean at the end of each day and completed the job on time. They were very friendly and incredibly helpful, bending over backwards to help us source reclaimed floorboards to match our existing ones and to help us find a plumber; both of which meant that the work could be completed on time with minimal hassle. The polished floorboards now look great, my husband and I have our privacy, we don't have to worry that the neigbours downstairs hearing every word we say and every step we take (as they previously could) and the neigbours are also appreciating the new tranquility. My husband and I were very pleased with Soundproofing R Us' professionalism and considerate attitude. Taking into account the quality and effectiveness of the work, Soundproofing R Us proved to be very competive on price.

When we decided to have our ceilings soundproofed we sought quotations and chose Soundproofing R Us Ltd because their assessment visit was prompt, their response was quick and their costs were competitive. (We did get other quotes). Daniel explained everything clearly and professionally because he really knows his stuff in the soundproofing business. The start and finish date for the work were fixed well in advance and these dates were kept to exactly (unusual in my experience). (very unusually in my experience) The quality of the work was excellent and all the workers were fantastic – very hard working, quick and willing. Daniel organised the supply of materials faultlessly so no time was wasted. There were some problems with getting bedroom cupboards back in place, but he overcame these problems very well. We found the company to be most pleasant to deal with; straight, resourceful and reliable. The results are very good – just exactly as we were advised by Daniel in the beginning. We’re very glad we did it and glad we chose this company.

I have found Soundproofing R Us Ltd to be one of the most reliable and professional tradesman's I have used, and am very happy with his recommendations and quality of work; we installed an in dependant wall for our bedroom party wall in 1/2 a day. After the work had been completed, everything was cleared away with no trace of tradesmen having ever being there! Throughout and leading up to organising the work, Soundproofing R Us Ltd was responsive and very helpful and answered all my queries.I plan to soundproof the other party walls in the future, and will definitely be turning to Daniel's firm. Having glanced through the many recommendations on Daniel's website I feel that there is very little I can add. Like everyone else I have found him to be highly efficient and conscientious in that he has soundproofed three of my walls quickly and competently. He is an extremely pleasant person to have around, making a difficult job able to be carried out as smoothly as possible. And, what is more he removes building materials as he goes along, leaving the place clean and tidy at the end of the day. A definite bonus!I would certainly use Daniel and his firm again and can certainly recommend his work with confidence.

Daniel and his team have done a fantastic, professional job in sound proofing a number of our walls in our house which has significantly reduced the noise from next door.Through out the process Daniel and his team were polite, friendly, professional and completed an excellent job with absolutely no fuss.I will definitely use them again if I need to and will highly recommend them to friends and family.To top it off Daniel also brought me some South African beer (Castle) which I’m pleased to say went down a treat.
